NAD+ Injectable

from $135/moon the 12-month plan

NAD+ is a substance your cells already use to turn food into energy and support normal repair work. Halwel offers it as a compounded under-the-skin injection. Human studies have not proven that this product improves energy, focus, recovery, or longevity.

How NAD+ Injectable works

We would rather you understand the medicine than take our word for it.

It helps cells transfer energy

NAD+ stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide. It is a helper molecule cells use when turning food into usable energy. Your cells need it to work normally. That fact alone does not show that an NAD+ injection improves a person’s energy or performance.

Rajman et al., Cell Metabolism, 2018

It helps with normal cell repair and signaling

Cells also use NAD+ during DNA repair, stress responses, and communication inside the cell. These jobs explain why researchers are interested in NAD+. They do not prove that this injection will improve a symptom or prevent disease.

Covarrubias et al., Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology, 2021

How NAD+ is taken matters

NAD+ can be studied as a pill containing a building block, an infusion into a vein, an injection into muscle, or an injection under the skin. These methods do not deliver the same amount in the same way. Evidence for one method cannot be assumed to apply to Halwel’s under-the-skin injection.

Thoughtful care in four clear steps

Medical intake

Tell us about your health history, current medications, goals, and prior treatment. This is a medical screening, not a product order.

2

Clinical review

A licensed clinician in your state independently decides whether treatment is appropriate. A prescription is not guaranteed.

What changes

The outcomes measured in trials, each with its source.

Essential to cellular energy

NAD⁺ is a coenzyme every cell uses to turn nutrients into usable energy (ATP) — it sits at the center of metabolism and cellular repair.

Rajman et al., Cell Metabolism 2018

NAD⁺ declines as we age

Tissue NAD⁺ falls measurably with age across humans and other species — the well-documented change that is the rationale for restoring it.

Covarrubias et al., Nat Rev Mol Cell Biol 2021

Fuels repair and resilience

NAD⁺ powers sirtuins and PARP enzymes — the cellular machinery behind DNA repair and the stress responses that keep cells healthy.

Verdin, Science 2015

A measurable target

NAD⁺ therapy has one clear aim: raise NAD⁺. In human studies, NAD⁺ precursors increase blood NAD⁺ dose-dependently — a direct, measured effect on the molecule itself.

What to keep in mind: The strongest human pharmacokinetic data is for oral NAD⁺ precursors; response can vary by route, dose, and individual.

Trammell et al., Nat Commun 2016

An active frontier of longevity science

NAD⁺ is among the most actively studied targets in aging biology, with human trials underway on energy, metabolic health, and healthy aging.

What to keep in mind: NAD⁺ therapy supports normal cellular biology; it is not a treatment or cure for any disease, and human outcome data is still emerging.

NAD+ Injectable questions

What patients ask most before starting. If yours isn't here, your clinician answers it during review.

Halwel offers a one-month plan for compounded NAD+, supplied as an under-the-skin injection if a clinician prescribes it. The plan’s product contains 1,000 mg total. The pharmacy label gives the concentration, dose, amount to inject, other ingredients, storage, and instructions.

Limited. Human research on NAD+ given directly is small. Studies of infusions into a vein or pills containing NAD+ building blocks do not establish what this under-the-skin injection does.

No. This is a compounded prescription. FDA has not reviewed it for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and it is not a generic version of an FDA-approved NAD+ injection.

No immediate feeling proves the product is working. A sensation after an injection could come from the injection itself, expectation, or a side effect. Report concerning symptoms and judge treatment against the goal chosen before starting.

It is injected into the fatty tissue just beneath the skin, using the dose and steps on the pharmacy label and care instructions. Do not inject it into a vein or muscle unless the prescription and clinician specifically say otherwise.

Choose one or two concrete measures before starting and set a review date. A vague sense of “optimization” is difficult to evaluate and can encourage ongoing treatment without evidence.

Watch for injection-site pain, redness, swelling, bruising, rash, headache, nausea, lightheadedness, or other unexpected symptoms. Seek urgent care for a severe allergic reaction or signs of a serious infection.

Stop and seek guidance for a concerning reaction or product-quality problem. The plan should also stop or change when no meaningful benefit appears by the agreed review point or when safe administration cannot be assured.

The one-month plan includes 1,000 mg total of compounded NAD+ for under-the-skin injection if prescribed, clinician review, follow-up support, and shipping. There is no separate membership fee.
